Sean trained at The Guildford School of Acting - B.A. Acting. Whilst at GSA He won the top prize of The Sir Peter and Lady Saunders "Laurence Olivier Bursary" from the Society of London Theatres and was also finalist at The BBC Carlton Hobbs competition.

As well as an accomplished actor Sean is also classically trained tenor and won the William T. Watt Tenor Solo trophy at the All Ireland Feis Ceoil.
